Following the State government’s reform of the electricity market, Alinta is now positioned as a leading total energy provider with core products of natural gas (for residential and commercial customers) and electricity (for commercial customers only at this stage).

Sustainability is central to the company's operations and their electricity is primarily produced through wind farms and low emission cogeneration. Alinta Assist provides comprehensive water and energy reviews for both residential and commercial customers to advise on ways to save money and benefit the environment.

We have an in-house team of Environmental, Health and Safety professionals to advise and support the business.

Alinta also participates in voluntary initiatives that aim to enhance environmental performance across industries and the general community. The Company is a signatory to the Australian Greenhouse Challenge and manages assets in accordance to the Energy Supply Association's Code of Environmental Practice and the Australian Pipeline Industry Association Code of Environmental Practice.
